In honor of National Coming Out Day, which was October 11th, KSJE partnered with Identity, Inc. to record several personal stories of how and when individuals came out to their families, friends, and communities. Each storyteller gave us a unique perspective on the evolving process of the necessity and consequences, both positive and negative, of being open about their sexuality and gender preferences. This special presents five such stories which were recorded at Identity, Inc. in downtown Farmington, NM on August 29th, 2015, in anticipation of Coming Out Day.
