Stephen Kanne: The Lynching Waltz

Durango author Stephen Kanne discusses his new novel "The Lynching Waltz" and its strong message about racism in America.  He has been invited to speak before the National Press Club in Washington D.C. at the National Juneteenth Observation Foundation.  June 19, 2016 marks the 151st Anniversary of General Order #3 which emancipated slaves in Texas.  Known as Juneteenth, the event celebrates the end of slavery in the United States.

San Juan River Balloon Rally June 17-19, 2016

Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce President Janet Mackey, Director Theresa Beasley and Balloon Meister Doug Lenberg disuss this year's San Juan River Balloon Rally in Bloomfield.  The event begins each day (weather permitting) with ascensions starting at 6:30am from the Bloomfield Soccer Fields.  The Balloon Glow will take place on Satuday, June 18 at 5:30pm.  

Farmington Pride
