Newly crowned Mrs. New Mexico: Summer Jakino-Whistle discusses a fundraiser for "Victoria's Voice" Thursday, July 21, 2018 4:30-10pm at Tomo restaurant in Farmington. She also discusses winning the title of Mrs. New Mexico and the upcoming competition August 27 for Mrs. America.
Summer Jakino-Whistle is also planning to speak with area school children about the dangers of distracted driving. Just over one year ago, her father was killed and mother seriously injured by a distracted driver.
