Thomas Heuser, San Juan Symphony

San Juan Symphony Music Director Thomas Heuser discusses this weekend's symphony concet's presenting Braham's German Requiem.  The concert will be performed Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College and Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Henderson Fine Arts Center Performance Hall at San Juan College.

Archaeologist Paul Reed (Salmon Ruins, Archaeology Southwest) discusses the recent agreement between the BLM and BIA to work together on oil and gas protections for the greater Chaco Canyon area.  He also discussed some of the archaeological protections on state and federal land where the controversial Dakota Access Pipeline is being built, but why there may be concerns about the pipeline's path across private land, which is not open to as much scrutiny.
