Farmington City Councilor Nate Duckett announces Mayoral Bid

Farmington Dist. 4 City Councilor Nate Duckett announces his plans to run for Farmington Mayor in city elections to be held Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
Other candidates may still announce between now and the filing deadline of January 9, 2018.
Incumbent Farmington Mayor Tommy Roberts has decided not to run for a 3rd term.

NM Tax Reform: Sen. Bill Sharer

New Mexico State Senator Bill Sharer (R-1 Farmington) explains the recently released tool for tax reform in New Mexico.  Sharer has been a long proponent of state tax reform, introducing a bill during several recent legislative sessions calling for a 2% flat tax.

Aztec High School Update: Kirk Carpenter

Aztec Schools Superintendent Kirk Carpenter gave an update on the district's plans to re-open Aztec High School.  
Students at all Aztec schools except AHS returned to class on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017.  Carpenter says students will be allowed to go back into Aztec High School this Thursday and Friday before the building re-opens for classes Monday, December 18, 2017.
Counseling services will continue to be available for any student, teacher or staff member of any Aztec School.

Aztec Shooting Update: Undersheriff Shane Ferrari

San Juan County Undersheriff Shane Perrari gives an update into the investigation of last Thursday's shooting at Aztec High School.  Ferrari said the investigation has now shifted to learn if the suspect told anyone about his plans or there were any warnings that went unnoticed.  The suspect killed two students at Aztec High School before killing himself.
Classes for students in the Aztec School District are canceled today, Monday, December 11, 2017.

Living Nativity at Navajo Ministries
