Local Attorney Eric Morrow discusses the recent decision by the Supreme Court of the U.S. (SCOTUS) not to hear the case against the 10 Commandment monument that is installed on the lawn at Bloomfield's City Hall. The decision lets a lower court ruling stand, that the city of Bloomfield will have to remove the monument.

Youthbuild seeks to help native american young people complete their GED and learn skills for a future career. The program will host an open house from 7-9pm on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Capacity Builders office in the 400 block of W. Broadway in Farmington.

Four Corners Storytelling Festival: Doug Elliott

Storyteller Doug Elliott and Farmington Public Library Program Coordinator Jenny Lee Ryan discuss the annual Four Corners Storytelling Festival. Elliott naturalist, herbalist, storyteller, basket maker, back-country guide, philosopher, and harmonica wizard. For many years made his living as a traveling herbalist, gathering and selling herbs, teas, and remedies. He has spent a great deal of time with traditional country folk and indigenous people, learning their stories, folklore and traditional ways of relating to the natural world.
The Festival will be held October 13-14, 2017 at Berg Park and the Totah Theater in Farmington.

Four Corners Storytelling Festival: Sam Payne

Storyteller Sam Payne and Farmington Public Library Program Coordinator Jenny Lee Ryan discuss the annual Four Corners Storytelling Festival. Payne is the host of the BYU podcast "Appleseed" about storytelling and he has been to the festival in the past to gather material for his program, but this is the first year he will be presenting stories.
The Festival will be held October 13-14, 2017 at Berg Park and the Totah Theater in Farmington.
